Axminster Brings in Administrators

London, England, March 6, 2013 -- Family-run Axminster Carpets has gone into administration and laid off 300 of its 400 workers.

Administrator Duff & Phelps is evaluating the company and its extensive property portfolio and is seeking a buyer.

Among Axminster's largest customers are John Lewis and Carpetright.
