Dalton, GA, January 23, 2007--Advanced Adhesives Technologies' president Gregory P. Wood has named Christopher J. Wood to the post of director of operations. The move marks the younger Wood's return to AAT after a ten-year career in information technology systems management. Prior to that time, Wood held positions in quality control and purchasing at AAT.
Chris Wood will manage all aspects of the day to day operations of the company, including product development, manufacturing, and finance. President Greg Wood says he is "very excited" about Wood's return to AAT. "[Chris] brings a great set of skills, a strong character, and has my complete confidence. AAT has positioned itself for significant growth and Chris's leadership will only add to our overall effectiveness."
As part of his duties, Wood will oversee AAT's new, 28,000 square foot facility. AAT celebrated their 20th anniversary in 2006 by doubling their existing space, adding new offices, a research and development facility, installation lab and training center. Wood says his primary goals are, "mailntaining profitability in a time of unprecedented cost increases" and "growing a business while maintaining excellent customer focus."
Wood holds a BS degree from Berry College in Rome, Georgia. He and his wife Tonya have two daughters, Madison, 8, and Morgan, 2.
