WFCA Names Michelle Nix Director of Education

Dalton, GA, January 22, 2026-The World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) has appointed Michelle Nix, a 38-year training veteran of Shaw Industries, as director of education, placing one of the industry’s most experienced trainers in charge of WFCA’s education strategy.

In this role, Nix will oversee the development and alignment of WFCA’s education programs, which support independent flooring dealers through leadership development, workforce training and business education delivered across in-person and digital platforms.

Education has long been a core pillar of WFCA’s mission. The director of education role provides dedicated leadership to ensure WFCA continues to serve as a independent source of industry learning as programs and partnerships continue to expand.

Nix joins WFCA following a 38-year career with Shaw Industries, Inc., where she built a reputation as a highly effective trainer and facilitator known for practical, relationship-driven learning and deep industry expertise.
