Wellmade Performance Flooring Files for Chapter 11
Cartersville, GA, August 8, 2025-Wellmade Performance Flooring has filed for Chapter 11, reports Bondoro.
“Wellmade Performance Flooring has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy to stay a lender-initiated foreclosure and pursue a going-concern 363 sale following a March labor-trafficking probe, supported by $4 million in DIP financing.
“Wellmade Floor Coverings International, Inc. and its debtor affiliate, a Tualatin, Oregon-based designer, manufacturer and distributor of hard-surface flooring, filed for Chapter 11 protection on August 4 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
“The company reports $50 million to $100 million in assets and $10 million to $50 million in liabilities. The filing indicates that there will be funds available for distribution to unsecured creditors. The case number is 25-58764.”
In March 2025, Wellmade's Cartersville facility was raided by the FBI for labor trafficking.
