Unilin Launching Slip-Resistance Technology for Ceramic

Waregem, Belgium, August 30, 2022-Unilin Technologies will be launching slip-resistance technology for ceramic tiles at TECNA, an Italian event taking place in September.

The slip-resistance technology is integrated into the production process without affecting the design or smooth surface touch. This patented innovation will be available as technology package “GripTile”.

Tiles treated with GripTile have high slip resistance that will not wear off, even in high-traffic commercial spaces or specific residential spaces such as bathrooms, kitchens, and pool areas. By creating a safer and more reliable surface for walking, it decreases injury or damage claims from slipping accidents.

As it is an intrinsic characteristic of the products, the high slip-resistance will not modify the design of the tiles. The surface remains soft to the touch and is easy to clean, perfect for both indoor and outdoor areas.

Unilin Technologies will be presenting GripTile together with other technologies for ceramics, as well as SPC solutions at TECNA from September 27 to 30 in the Rimini Expo Centre at Hall D1 Booth 026.
