Tennant Names VP, Global Operations

Minneapolis, MN, October 18, 2006--Tennant Company announced today that it has named Don Westman to lead its global operations as Vice President, Global Operations. Mr. Westman will have responsibility for the company's global manufacturing, sourcing and logistics. Mr. Westman has spent 24 years with Pentair, Inc., most recently as Vice President of Operations-Pump Division where he oversaw manufacturing and distribution operations in the U.S., China, Mexico and Canada. Mr. Westman has held several VP-level executive positions with Pentair in various business units such as Pentair Water, Hoffman Enclosures and Schroff GMBH. Mr. Westman began his career as an industrial engineer with Deere & Company. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Menomonie.
