Sun Capital Acquires LINQ Polypropylene Fabric Pro

Boca, Raton, FL, March 7, 2006--Sun Capital Partners said one of its affiliates has acquired the stock of LINQ Industrial Fabrics, Inc., from American Industrial Partners. LINQ is a leading global supplier of highly engineered woven and non-woven polypropylene-based fabric products, including proprietary and technical fabrics, with a focus on fulfilling customer-specific requirements. LINQ's products include: carpet backing used in the manufacturing of carpet and artificial turf, static protective fabrics used to produce flexible intermediate bulk containers for storing and transporting compounds exposed to potentially flammable environments; geotextiles used in subsurface drainage, soil separation, soil stabilization, and other applications; agrotextiles used to improve water penetration and protect against weed growth in landscaping and nursery applications.
