Charlotte, NC, January 27--Stark Carpet Corp., will open its new 30,000-square-foot Charlotte facility in February.
The Stark Carpet Design Center & Luxury Outlet will pair Stark's first-ever clearance carpet outlet, open to the public, with a to-the- trade showroom exclusively for designers. "This center is the first of its kind to offer Stark products for both retail clients and trades people in one location. We aim to satisfy everyone who walks through our doors," says Timothy Cohen, showroom manager.
The Stark Carpet Luxury Outlet will host its grand opening for the public on Friday, Feb. 11 through Monday, February 21. Grand opening hours will be 9 am to 8 pm Monday through Saturday and 10 am to 6 pm on Sunday.
Stark has 26 showrooms throughout the United States and London, serving as a to-the-trade resource for the design community. The New York-based company was drawn to Charlotte for its first showroom and outlet combination because of the city's growth. "We looked at cities in Texas, Tennessee, Florida and elsewhere in North Carolina. Charlotte just beamed above everybody else," says Bill Bancroft, outlet manager.
