Shaw's Atlanta Regional Market Wraps Up Today

Atlanta, GA, February 8, 2024-Shaw's seventh regional market concludes today in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Shaw’s first regional market of the season was held in Dallas, Texas on January 10.

The theme of this year’s market season is "Elevate."

According to Jon England, senior vice president of brand for Shaw's residential business, "Attendance at all of our shows was strong, and there is lot of optimism out there for an uptick in demand in the retail sector.

“The consumer has lost that value relationship with flooring, and Shaw--as the largest supplier to this industry in the U.S.--is giving the retailer the necessary tools to pull that value back in. The consumer journey today for purchasing flooring is over 190 days, and almost 40% lose interest before a purchase is made. As we meet with our dealers more intimately at these shows, we’re giving them the tools to shorten that window and the confidence to convince the consumer that now is the time to enhance their home with new floorcovering."

Traffic in Atlanta was steady as dealers from the Southeastern region traveled to see Shaw’s new products and programs for 2024. 

A party was held the night of February 7 at Live at the Battery, next door to the Braves stadium. On hand at this event were Ben Liebert, executive vice president of Shaw’s residential business, and Jay Smith, senior vice president over the Southeastern region, along with a host of Shaw dealers.
