Shaw, EF and Mohawk Roll Out Price Increases, Effective in April

Chattanooga, TN, February 24, 2022-Shaw, Engineered Floors (EF) and Mohawk have announced prices increases. The companies cited inflationary forces-including escalation in costs on raw materials, labor and logistics-as the reason for the increases. 

Effective April 4, Shaw will increase prices on residential sheet goods up to 15% and select residential hardwood, laminate, glue-down LVT and accessories up to 7%. Prices on select Anderson Tuftex soft surface products will also increase.

Engineered Floors will be increasing all residential and main street commercial carpet products 5% to 8%. In addition, all hard surface products will increase 5% to 10%. Increases are effective April 4. 

Effective April 1, Mohawk will increase prices on all resilient LVT, hardwood, laminate and accessories 3% to 5%. Resilient sheet will increase up to 10%. Residential and mainstreet commercial carpet styles will increase a minimum of 5% or $0.27 per square yard minimum.
