Shaw Announces Price Increase on Residential Carpet & Hard Surface

Dalton, GA, May 6, 2021-Shaw Industries has announced a price increase on residential carpet and all categories of hard surface, effective with order June 1 and shipments June 14. 

Product prices will increase up to 7% with a minimum of $0.27 per square yard on carpet, $0.06 per square foot on flexible LVT, and $0.10 per square foot on rigid core luxury vinyl.

The company cites “continued escalation of raw materials, logistics, and other operating costs over the course of the first fore months of this year” as the cause.
