Prominent Economist Says Housing Has Bottomed

Washington, DC, April 25, 2012 — Mark Zandi, chief economist for Moody’s Analytics Inc., told Bloomberg News that the U.S. housing market has finally hit bottom.

Zandi cited growing new and existing home sales and housing starts as the reason for his optimism.

“The crash is over,” Zandi told Bloomberg.
