Productivity Increased 2.1% in Q2

Washington, DC, September 2, 2021-Nonfarm business sector labor productivity increased 2.1% in Q2 2021, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported, as output increased 8.1% and hours worked increased 6.0%. 

From Q2 2020 to Q2 2021, nonfarm business sector labor productivity increased 1.8%.
