Private Sector Employment Declined by 27,000 Jobs in March

Roseland, NJ, April 1, 2020-Private sector employment decreased by 27,000 jobs from February to March, according to the March ADP National Employment Report.

The report utilizes data through the 12th of the month.

Small businesses lost 90,000 jobs, medium businesses added 7,000 jobs, and large businesses added 56,000 jobs.

The goods-producing sector lost 9,000 positions, and the service-providing sector lost 18,000. Franchise employment fell by 4,300.
