Phenix Becomes CCA Supplier

Nashville, TN, August 10, 2022-Building on Mannington’s existing partnership with CCA Global, Phenix is now among the co-op’s suppliers. Mannington acquired the high-end carpet producer in 2019, adding residential soft surface to Mannington’s portfolio.

“One of the big reasons Mannington added residential carpet was to be more important to retailers,” says Zack Zehner, president of Mannington’s residential business. “Carpet is still very essential and a core category to that independent retailer.”

Fiber producer Pharr Yarns was also part of the acquisition, and with Invista exiting the nylon fiber business, Mannington is now one of the last remaining providers of nylon and the only provider of CAT6 solution-dyed nylon in the residential market, says Mark Clayton, president of the Phenix flooring division.

“One of Mannington’s key partnerships is CCA Global, beginning with hard surface,” Zehner says. “We’re excited to offer our full portfolio as part of CCA now.”

CCA comprises 1,500 member storefronts.
