Pending Home Sales Edge Down in February

Washington, DC, March 27, 2013 — Pending home sales declined 0.4% in February, the National Association of Realtors reported Wednesday.

The NAR pending home sales index decreased to 104.8 in February from 105.2 in January, but was up more than 8% from 96.6 a year ago.

A reading of 100 equals the average level of contract activity during 2001.
