Orders for Manufactured Goods Rose 0.3% in June


Washington, DC, July 27, 2026—New orders for manufactured durable goods in June, up three of the last four months, increased $1.1 billion or 0.3% to $334.8 billion, the U.S. Census Bureau announced. 

This followed a 4.0% May decrease. 

Excluding transportation, new orders increased 0.6%. Excluding defense, new orders increased 0.3%. Computers and electronic products, up nine of the last ten months, led the increase, $0.9 billion or 3.1% to $31.1 billion.
