NWFA Names Winners of NERF Wood Studies Scholarship

St. Louis, May 3, 2019-Cole Boyer, a high school senior from Tomball High School in Tomball, Texas, has been named the recipient of the 2018 NWFA NERF Wood Studies Scholarship.

This nonrenewable scholarship in the amount of $1,000 is awarded to a current high school senior who will study forestry, or forestry related sciences, in an effort to advance and improve forestry practices for generations to come.

Boyer will attend Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. starting this fall to study forestry

The NWFA Education & Research Foundation (NERF) was established to provide industry research and educate future generations of wood flooring professionals.
