NWFA Expo Underway Now in Charlotte

Charlotte, NC, April 16, 2025-The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) expo kicked off yesterday in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The organization is celebrating its 40th anniversary in existence. The theme of the meeting is "Go the Distance.”

The following awards were presented,

Hall of Fame awards: Neil Moss and Sprigg Lynn

Ambassador award: Jorge Perez

Community Service award: Brown Oaks Flooring

Vanguard award: Stephen Skutelsky

Wood Floor of the Year awards recipients were as follows,

Best Circular/Curved Application: J.L.Vivash Custom Wood Floors in Paris, Ontario, Canada

Best Historic Restoration: Universal Floors, Inc., Washington, DC

Best in Color/Finish & Textured Wood: Custom Floors Unlimited, Houston, TX

Best in Marquetry/Inlay: MP Caroll Hardwood, Buffalo, NY

Best in Parquetry: American Floor Sanding and Installation in Summerfield, FL

Best Staircase: Henschen Hardwood, New Knoxville, OH
