NTCA Names 2026 Five-Star Accredited Contractor Project Winners
Jackson, MS, April 2, 2026-The National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) announced the winners of the Five-Star Accredited Contractor Project of the Year Awards on April 1 at Coverings 2026. These awards recognize exceptional and technically challenging work in the tile installation industry. Among the winners were D.W. Sanders Tile & Stone Contracting, American Tile Company, Inc. and David Allen Company.
D.W. Sanders Tile & Stone Contracting won the NTCA Five-Star Project of the Year Residential Grand Prize award for their intricate and challenging work on the Mastery of a Sophisticated Spa. A stunning transformation from a storage space above a garage to a state-of-the-art spa, including a steam shower. Glass mosaic on every wall and ceiling surface, architectural features including a barrel vault and nooks reminded us that the prep was essential for this project. American Tile Company, Inc. received the NTCA Five-Star Project of the Year Commercial Grand Prize for Hotel Bourré Bonne Project, a Hilton Curio Collection. This dynamic project showcases tile craftsmanship throughout its guest rooms, public spaces and exterior amenities. The installation team handled extensive waterproofing, leveling and installations ranging from large-format stone and tile to intricate mosaics. By navigating challenging site conditions with expert coordination, technical precision and perseverance, the team produced a durable and visually striking finished project. David Allen Company was awarded the NTCA Five-Star Project of the Year Large Commercial Grand Prize for their work on the Grand Helios Hotel.
