NTCA Bringing Free Workshops and Regional Trainings to 10 States

Jackson, MS, July 30, 2024--The National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) is hosting free trainings spanning ten states in August. 

The 17 free workshops and six free regional trainings mark a considerable expansion compared to the previous year's offerings.

Each session will be presented by NTCA Technical Trainers, who possess extensive experience in tile installation, providing invaluable opportunities for professionals to stay updated on industry standards, best practices and emerging trends. 

Workshops

>Where: California, Colorado, Florida, New Hampshire, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont

>What: The workshops will focus on one of the following:

  • Ins and Outs of Layout for Contractors
  • Tile Matters–Best Practices for the Pros
  • Failures–Could It Be Me?
  • Tile Technology–Membranes

>Details: The workshops, spanning three hours in the afternoon or evening, are open to tile installers, contractors, sales personnel and members of the architecture and design community. Meals will be provided and there will be chances to win valuable prizes.

There will also be a special workshop for designers and installers hosted by celebrity designer Jennifer Farrell in Nashville August 15. "Tile Design Trends and Installation–What Every Industry Pro Should Know" will offer a deeper understanding of integrating the latest tile trends into projects while ensuring top-quality installation standards. 

Regional Trainings

>Where: Maryland, Massachusetts, New York

>What: Topics include:

  • GPTP/Slabs, re the installation of porcelain panels
  • Substrate Preparation and Large-Format Tile

>Details: The immersive, all-day sessions address real-world challenges faced by tile installers. To maximize the learning experience, each session is limited to 20 participants. Attendees will receive a document of course completion upon successfully concluding the training session.
