Novalis Rolls Out Digital Passport Detailing Product Attributes

Dalton, GA, September 20, 2021-Novalis has announced the release of the first Digital Product Passport for a flooring company in North America. The Digital Product Passport can be accessed by scanning a QR code on the back of planks of Novalis flooring. The passport provides information about product attributes including recyclability, contents, embodied carbon, TVOCs, certifications, technical data, and more.

By engraving its flooring with QR codes that link to Digital Product Passports, Novalis is facilitating easy end-of-life identification of product contents and pioneering the recycling pathways of the future.

This Digital Product Passport gives viewers a look at the contents and attributes of AVA VRSE, a commercial loose lay LVT product with a unique, multi-directional design that can be installed in a variety of patterns. The product passport is powered by Origin, one of the world’s largest online databases of digital materials.
