Novalis Launches Fifth Sustainability Report

Dalton, GA, April 2, 2026- Novalis has released its fitth Annual Sustainability Report, marking another year of measurable progress toward its environmental, social and governance goals.

The report highlights achievements across Novalis’ global operations and reflects the company’s continued commitment to responsible, sustainable growth. A key milestone this year is the successful ramp-up of Novalis’ facilities in Thailand and Mexico. These sites are now included in the report, strengthening transparency, expanding the scope of Novalis’ sustainability data, and reinforcing high standards across all regions.

Highlights from this year’s report include:

• Materiality: Alignment of sustainability strategies with operations at Novalis’ new facilities in Mexico and Thailand.

• Energy Consumption: A detailed breakdown of grid energy usage, along with an update on new solar panel installations in China.

• Carbon Footprint and Emissions: Expanded Scope 3 reporting now includes products sourced from manufacturing partners in Korea and Vietnam. Novalis also improved the completeness, scope, and methodological rigor of its Scope 3 inventory, establishing 2024 as the baseline year for tracking sustainability and decarbonization targets.

• Alternative Materials: Progress in the development of non-PVC flooring solutions, including polypropylene (PP), in response to evolving market demand.

• Circularity: Updates on the development of a Europe-wide system for the collection, sorting, reuse, and recycling of post-consumer flooring materials, alongside continued collaboration with technology experts to improve material separation and recycling efficiency.

• Health, Safety, and Well-being: Introduction of an incident severity classification to strengthen follow-up actions and preventive measures.

In line with its commitment to transparency, Novalis continues to report on both progress and areas for improvement as it works toward its 2030 and 2040 targets across its key pillars: Planet, People, and Community.

The 5th Annual Sustainability Report has been prepared in alignment with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), supporting transparent reporting on Novalis’ social and environmental impact while enabling comparability with leading companies across industries and regions.
