Johnson City, TN, Mar. 31--Aaron Rickman has been named plant manager at Mullican Flooring's newly acquired Bluegrass Specialty Flooring operation in Bowling Green, KY.
Rickman had worked at the company's Ronceverte, WV operation since 1996 where he served as night shift supervisor.
"Aaron is committed to Mullican, and he is a proven leader," says Neil Poland, Mullican's president. "His guidance will make a significant impact on the Bluegrass operation."
The Bluegrass operation was built in 1998 and manufactures solid unfinished red and white oak flooring. The facility employs 48 people.
"I'm excited about this opportunity with Mullican, and I look forward to the challenges that await me in this new position," Rickman said. "This is a quality organization, and I'm proud to be part of the Mullican team."
Mullican is based in Johnson City, TN and is the nation's second largest manufacturer of 3/4-inch solid hardwood flooring. It has facilities in six states, including plants in Norton, VA, Holland, NY, Murfreesboro, NC, Bowling Green, Ronceverte, and Johnson City.
