Milwaukee, WI, Nov. 30, 2010 — Starting in January, old carpets will be converted into plastic pellets at a new factory in Milwaukee, according to the Pierce County Herald.
Surfaces Transport, a trucking company, will own the new facility.
The new Milwaukee plant will be called “CLEAR,” which stands for Carpet Landfill Elimination and Recycling.
