Nemo Names Silano President of Tile and Stone Division

New York, NY, March 18, 2025-Nemo Tile + Stone has named Ron Silano as president of the Nemo Tile and Stone Division.

The appointment of Silano enables Matthew Karlin, CEO of The Nemo Group, to focus on prioritizing new growth opportunities, continued acquisition exploration, strengthening Nemo’s high-value supplier relationships, and providing strategic oversight of the company.

Silano brings over 30 years of industry experience to the role, with extensive expertise in architecture and design sales, distribution, stone fabrication and wholesale operations. Prior to joining Nemo Tile + Stone, he was the co-founder of The Stone Project. His career also includes 15 years as one of the leaders of Stone Source in New York City and served as the Northeast regional manager at FlorGres (now Florim Spa).
