Bedford, OH, October 25--Nature Stone founder and owner Russ Masetta today announced the opening of a Washington, D.C. franchise for its popular stone and epoxy flooring, its first in a major United States metropolitan area.
Owners of the new franchise, called Nature Stone of Washington LLC, are Craig Chapman and Herman Knight. Nature Stone began offering franchises for its popular flooring products in August.
Masetta declared, "We are delighted that Nature Stone will now be available in our nation's capital and that this talented team will run our franchise here. In Craig Chapman and Herman Knight, we have two individuals with superb business backgrounds who believe in our product, our commitment to quality and our exacting process. I know they'll be successful."
Knight says, "Our goal is to be known for doing good work. I love this product, and want to bring the same high quality to this market that Nature Stone has established elsewhere. D.C. should be a hot market for Nature Stone. I haven't seen anything quite like it here."
Their first look at Nature Stone sold Chapman and Knight. An Ohio friend told them about this new stone and epoxy flooring product and arranged for them to see it. Craig was so impressed he proceeded to the Nature Stone showroom to see about having it installed in his own home in D.C. No one in D.C. was selling the product and, as they say, the rest is history.
Chapman says the "look" of Nature Stone attracted him initially. "It just looks great on a floor. Before I knew about Nature Stone's durability and other benefits, I was hooked. People naturally gravitate to it. I can't wait to get started. I'm really excited about this."
Chapman and Knight are graduates of Howard University in D.C. Chapman is a project manager for an agency of the federal government. Knight operates a home improvement business in the area. Both see their experience helping in their new endeavor.
