Mohawk's Dallas Roadshow Event Welcomed 600 Dealers on Day One

Dallas, TX, January 15, 2024-Dallas represents a growing stop on the Mohawk Momentum Roadshow annual tour. This year’s event, which ran January 11 to 12, welcomed 600 dealers on day one, double the anticipated amount, reported senior public relations and communications manager Melissa Stocks.

Previously more of a sales meeting than a true showcase, this year’s event featured product displays, and next year that could expand to include feature displays.

Stocks believes the growing Texas market-which leads the country in terms of residential relocation-and the concentration of industry-related events in town at the same time is helping fuel some of the Dallas tour stop’s growth. Additionally, this year, Daltile joined the tour for the first time in several years, and Texas represents the tile brand’s largest market, according to vice president of residential sales Patrick Warren.

With Daltile placing more emphasis on its growing quartz countertop business and working to expand its tile platform, a strategic decision was made to focus on more targeted shows this year, and it’s been “a huge success,” said Warren. In lieu of Surfaces, Daltile will be exhibiting at KBIS for the first time ever, though the brand will now also be present in Mohawk’s Surfaces booth with the same setup seen in Dallas, following the reception it received there.
