Mohawk to Acquire Foss Floors

Dalton, GA, July 5, 2022-Mohawk Industries has entered into an agreement to purchase Foss Floors, "which will add new product categories and create tremendous opportunities for our business," according to a recent memo to Mohawk employees.

The acquisition is expected to close in the third quarter of this year.

Per the memo, Foss will report to the Mohawk Home organization and will continue to operate with its current leadership team, led by Brian Warren, who will report to Mohawk Home president Rocky Casteel.

Foss sells primarily to national home centers and other manufacturers, the memo states.

Founded in 1954, Foss is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of non-woven needle-punch flooring and specialty flooring products, including indoor and outdoor rugs, peel-and-stick carpet tile, carpet, carpet backing, artificial turf and specialty mats for commercial entryways, janitorial and sanitation applications. Foss uses 100% recycled PET polyester made from post-consumer plastic drinking bottles.
