Mohawk, Shaw, Dixie & EF Announce Price Increases

Chattanooga, TN, February 26, 2021-Mohawk, Shaw, The Dixie Group and Engineered Floors have announced price increases. All attribute the increases to rising costs in raw materials, logistics and labor. 

Mohawk will raises prices 5% to 7% on residential carpet, cushion and resilient products and 3% to 5% on all wood-based products. These increases will be effective for all ordered entered on or after March 15 and for shipments on or after March 29. 

Shaw Industries will increase prices on residential carpet and all categories of hard surfaces 5% to 7% with a minimum of $0.27 per yard on carpet, $0.06 per foot on flexible LVT, and $0.10 per foot on rigid LVT. These prices will be effective with orders placed March 8th and shipments effective March 22.

The Dixie Group will raise residential soft surface prices by 4% to 9%, effective with orders on March 15, 2021, and all shipments on April 1. The increase will apply to its Dixie Home, Masland and Fabrica soft surface product portfolios.

Engineered Floors announced that the price of its Dream Weaver, Dwellings, Engineered Floors Multifamily, and EF Hard Surface brands will be increased. The increase will range from 5% to 8% and will affect all products with a minimum of $0.27 per yard on carpet.
