Mohawk Group to Launch Three-day Virtual Summit This Summer

Calhoun, GA, June 11, 2020-Mohawk Group has announced it is launching a three-day digital event in response to the cancellation of NeoCon in Chicago this year.

The Design Forward Virtual Summit, Mohawk Group’s first online event, will take place July 15-17.

NeoCon, the largest show for commercial interior design professionals, was slated to take place June 8-10, but was canceled amid nationwide shelter-in-place orders related to COVID-19. Instead, NeoCon has launched a monthlong virtual show, featuring panels, products launches and other online “events.”

“Because we knew we couldn’t be together in Chicago at NeoCon this year, we wanted to create a meaningful way we could still unite together in spirit and in purpose,” says Jackie Dettmar, Mohawk Group’s vice president of design and product development. “Our team has created a wonderful lineup of curated events for the immediate path that lies ahead, providing us with the needed connection and inspiration to move design forward.”

The virtual event, which is themed “A New Path Forward,” will include digital roundtables, webinars and podcasts.

As part of the summit, Mohawk Group will also be highlighting its new Personal Studio visualization tool, which aims to help specifiers customize running line flooring products as well as visualize them in multiple room scenes and installation patterns.
