Mohawk Eliminating 32 Positions at Eden, NC Plant

Eden, NC, March 27, 2019-Mohawk is eliminating 32 positions at its manufacturing plant in Eden, North Carolina, offering workers retirement incentives as it eliminates a department and reduces other production, according to Rockingham Now.

Over the next year, Mohawk plans to phase out its finishing and fabrication departments.

The Eden plant is known for producing Karastan rugs and came to Mohawk as part of its acquisition of the brand.
