Mohawk Closing Milledgeville, Georgia Yarn Plant

Milledgeville, GA, August 29, 2019-Mohawk will be closing its Milledgeville, Georgia yarn plant by the end of October, according to The Union-Recorder.

“Mohawk’s statement released Wednesday said the decision to close the local plant was a financial one.”

In May 2019, Mohawk announced that it would close its Lyerly, Georgia tufting operation.
