Mohawk Announces Price Increase on Flooring, Accessories & Cushion

Calhoun, GA, October 14, 2021-Mohawk will be raising prices on all soft and hard surfaces, accessories, and cushion products. 

"Unfortunately, inflation and shortages continue to increase in raw materials, labor, and all forms of transportation, says Jeff Meadows, president of residential sales for Mohawk. 

As a result of these challenges, Mohawk will be raising product prices 3% to 10% effective with orders placed and shipments on or after January 3, 2022. In additional, due to unprecedented increases in ocean freight rates and availability, Mohawk will be increasing the import freight surcharge from $0.07 per square foot to $0.12 per square foot effective November 1on all shipments of imported hard surface products. This import freight surcharge will be adjusted as ocean freight rates change in the future. 

Mohawk announced price increases in August 2020, December 2020, February 2021, May 2021 and June 2021.

Mohawk Group announced price increases in January 2021, May 2021 and July 2021.
