Mohawk Announces 7% Price Increase Across All Product Categories, Effective Jan. 4

Calhoun, GA, October 5, 2026—Mohawk released the following on October 2, 

“Over the past year, businesses around the world have faced unprecedented inflationary pressures impacting raw materials, transportation, energy, packaging, equipment, and labor. While market conditions have stabilized in some areas, ongoing cost increases and supply chain constraints continue to affect the overall cost of manufacturing and delivering high-quality flooring products.

“Throughout this period, Mohawk has worked diligently to minimize the impact of these increased costs on our customers. Through investments in manufacturing efficiency, supply chain optimization, productivity improvements, and cost absorption initiatives, we have offset some of these increases. Unfortunately, the magnitude and persistence of these cost pressures can no longer be fully absorbed without affecting our ability to maintain the quality, innovation, service, and reliability our customers expect.

“While these cost increases are immediately impacting our business, we recognize that the fourth quarter is a critical period for your business and that pricing disruptions during this period can create significant challenges for our customers. To minimize disruption and provide greater pricing stability as you close out the year, we have elected to defer the effective date of the price increase described below until early January.

“As a result, effective with shipments on January 4, 2027, Mohawk will implement a price increase of up to 7% across all product categories. Specific adjustments may vary by product line based on material and manufacturing costs; we will continue to monitor market conditions and manage pricing responsibly.

“This decision to implement a price increase was only made after careful evaluation of all available alternatives. Mohawk remains committed to industry-leading products, dependable service, and operational excellence that supports your business and project needs. We continue to invest in manufacturing, product innovation, customer support, and supply chain resilience to deliver long-term value.”

Mohawk announced a freight increase in late September.
