Brussels, Belgium, June 30, 2026—The Multilayer Modular Flooring Association (MMFA) has re-elected its board for the 2026-2028 term, maintaining its current leadership as the association focuses on sustainability, regulatory compliance and technological advancement.

Jan Dossche, Sebastian Wendel and Carlos Duarte.

Jan Dossche was re-elected to a third consecutive two-year term as president. Sebastian Wendel will continue as vice president and chairman of the Technical Committee, while Carlos Duarte was also re-elected after joining the leadership team on an interim basis earlier this year.

Dossche said the board’s priorities for the coming term include helping members navigate new European regulations and data standardization requirements. Wendel added that the association will focus on developing a new life cycle assessment (LCA) tool and updating environmental product declarations (EPDs) to support members as environmental standards evolve.

The board was elected through an online vote conducted June 1-12 during the association’s Annual General Assembly.

Founded in 2012, the MMFA represents leading flooring manufacturers and suppliers across Europe. The organization, headquartered in Brussels, works to promote sustainability, innovation and collaboration within the multilayer modular flooring industry.
