Chelsea, MI, July 8, 2024-Merkel Furniture and Carpet One is celebrating 100 years of business this year, reports The Sun Times News.

The company, with locations in Ann Arbor and Chelsea, Michigan, began as a hardware/auto part supply store and today is a full-service flooring, interior design, fine furniture, and mattresses.

The business is run by fourth-generation family members.
