Deerfield Beach, FL, May 16—-Mapei Corp. was named home-improvement retailer Lowe's flooring-division supplier of the year for 2004.
Mapei was selected from more than 60 suppliers. The company has been a Lowe's vendor for more than 10 years, producing mortars and grouts that are applied under tile. Mapei, a unit of Mapei Group of Milan, Italy, supplies flooring-installation systems. It generated about $230 million in annual revenue.
