Mannington Names Winners of Stand on a Better World Scholarships

Salem, NJ, July 13, 2020-In recognition of their commitment to community service, Mannington Mills has awarded “Stand on a Better World” scholarships to two recent New Jersey high school graduates: Corinne Wiley and Aidan Coombs.   

The scholarship program, which began in 2006, reflects Mannington’s commitment to local education in a special way. It was started by an associate and scholarships are fully funded by Salem, New Jersey, associates through donations received from special events held throughout the year. Two scholarships are offered: one to a Salem County students and one to the child of a Salem-site associate.

Corinne Wiley of Pennsville, New Jersey just graduated from Pennsville Memorial High School and plans to attend Salem Community College this fall. 

Aidan Coombs of Pittsgrove, New Jersey is a recent graduate of A.P. Schalick High School, and he plans to attend Rowan College of South Jersey this fall
