Mannington Associates Participate in Dragon Boat Race for Charity

Salem, NJ, July 19, 2018-A group of Mannington's Madison and Calhoun, Georgia-based associates and their families recently competed in the third Annual West Point Lake Dragon Boat Race to benefit the LaGrange, Georgia, Harmony House Domestic Violence Shelter.

This unique fundraising event featured authentic Hong Kong-style dragon boat racing (the eighth fastest growing sport in the world) with 30 teams paddling across LaGrange’s West Point Lake. Proceeds from the event benefit Harmony House Domestic Violence Shelter in LaGrange.

Mannington’s team, dubbed “Russell’s Rowers,” was comprised of associates and their families from Mannington’s Madison and Calhoun, GA, locations. “

Founded in 2005, Harmony House Domestic Violence Shelter is located in LaGrange, GA, and provides emergency shelter, crisis intervention and advocacy for adults and children who are domestic violence victims.
