Leggett & Platt Names Jeffrey Tate EVP & CFO

Carthage, MO, August 8, 2019-Diversified manufacturer Leggett & Platt, maker of carpet cushion and other products, has announced that Jeffrey L. Tate will join the company as executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective September 3.

Tate brings 27 years of senior-level finance, operating, and general management experience with The Dow Chemical Company. In his most recent role, Tate served as vice president and business CFO for Dow's largest operating segment, Packaging & Specialty Plastics, with combined revenue of over $24 billion.
