Larry Scott of DriTac Has Died

Bandera, TX, September 16, 2020-Larry Scott, 69, of DriTac, died September 11.

Scott started his flooring career in the ’70s as a hardwood flooring installer for French Brown Floors in Dallas, Texas. After learning and mastering the wood flooring installation trade, he branched off and started a wood floor contracting and maintenance company, Specialty Maintenance, based in Dallas, Texas. He sold his share of the company to his partner.  

In 1993, Larry moved to Bandera, Texas where he designed and built custom homes with his partner and wife, Elizabeth, and an architect friend, Barry Ehrmann.

In 1999, Larry was hired by DriTac Adhesives, where he spent two decades in positions such as Southwest regional sales; director of field technical services; and vice president, technical services.
