Kevin Whiteside Named EVP of Vandewiele

Ooltewah, TN, May 29, 2024-Vandewiele has named Kevin Whiteside to the position of executive vice president.

Whiteside, a 30-year veteran in the industry with extensive experience in tufting machinery, will lead Whiteside’s efforts in U.S. softflooring sector as it launches a new range of tufting machines. Whiteside will also take on management responsibility for all commercial activities in the flooring sector, including yarn processing, weaving and finishing.

Whiteside spent the last 13 years at Tuftco.

In addition to announcing Whiteside’s appointment, Vandewiele will invest over $2 million to expand and update its showroom at its U.S. headquarters in Ooltewah, Tennessee.

Vandewiele was founded in Belgium in 1880.
