June Ceramic Imports Declined 21%, While LVT Imports Rose 41%

Charlotte, NC, August 11, 2026—For June, ceramic imports declined 21% in units and 11% in dollars, while LVT imports for the month increased 41% in units and 3.3% in dollars, reports Truist.

Regarding ceramic, “India saw the largest declines for the month with units declining 46% and dollars declining 41%, while Spain saw more modest declines. Italy saw imports stay roughly flat in both units and dollars versus June of last year with Mexico continuing its streak of dollar gains. YTD imports sit down 19% in units and down 18% in dollars.”

Regarding LVT, “Imports for the month increased 41% in units and 3.3% in dollars as robust unit growth over the past two months has nearly made up for the declines seen to start the year. China and Vietnam experience significant growth in June up 77% and 18% for units, respectively. We highlight that some of this grow can be attributed to easy comparables as tariffs last year resulted in a 90% decline in Chinese imports. China’s share of imports is still down significantly while other countries including Vietnam and South Korea have made up the balance. Overall imports YTD are down 1.2% in units and down 19% in dollars.”
