John C. Turner, Veteran of Dal-Tile, Named President of GMS

Tucker, GA, April 5, 2019--GMS, a North American specialty distributor of interior building products, has named John C. Turner, Jr., veteran of Mohawk Industries’ Dal-Tile, as president, following the retirement of its current president and CEO Mike Callahan.

Turner will step in as president now and will assume the CEO role when Callahan’s retirement is effective, August 2.

Turner has served as president of Mohawk’s Dal-Tile since January 2012 and has worked for the organization since 1990.

He brings to GMS almost 30 years of industry experience and a broad range of expertise in operations, sales, customer service, distribution and logistics as well as strategic planning and M&A.
