Jobless Claims Rose by 14,000 in Week Ending March 26

Washington, DC, March 31, 2022-In the week ending March 26, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 202,000, an increase of 14,000 from the previous week's revised level, according to the Department of Labor. 

The previous week's level was revised up by 1,000 from 187,000 to 188,000. The four-week moving average was 208,500, a decrease of 3,500 from the previous week's revised average. The previous week's average was revised up by 250 from 211,750 to 212,000.
