Internacional de Ceramica to Delist from NYSE

Chihuahau, Mexico, September 9--At meetings held on September 7, the shareholders of Internacional de Ceramica, S.A. de C.V. approved a proposition to delist the company's securities from the New York Stock Exchange and to deregister the securities with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. Among a number of other reasons for approving the delisting, the shareholders determined that given the limited trading in the United States it would be in the best interest of the shareholders to concentrate the holding on the Mexican Stock Exchange. The board of directors of the company is expected in the near future to determine the time frame for the delisting and other applicable terms and conditions, which it intends to announce in due course.
