Interface Releases 2023 Impact Report

Atlanta, GA, August 2, 2024--Interface has released its 2023 Impact Report, outlining the company’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) progress and achievements in 2023 and sharing forward-looking goals.

"In 2023, we celebrated our 50th anniversary, a milestone which provided a moment of reflection and was a powerful catalyst for further defining our path forward," says CEO Laurel Hurd.

Highlights from the company’s 2023 Impact Report include:

Reduced global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 12% compared to 2022.
Decreased the carbon footprint of all product categories.
Achieved "Great Place to Work" certification in six countries.
Expanded employee learning and development programs to better support employees and their growth.
Increased female representation on its board of directors to 30% with the election of Catherine Marcus.
Launched Global Design & Sustainability Councils, advancing key global initiatives.

In addition to these achievements, the 2023 Impact Report also provides transparency into the company’s environmental footprint, including carbon footprint by product type, use of recycled and bio-based materials, use of renewable energy, and enhanced employee metrics and demographic data.
