Initial Jobless Claims Rose by 13,000 in Week Ending November 11

Washington, DC, November 16, 2022-In the week ending November 11, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 231,000, an increase of 13,000 from the previous week's revised level, according to the Department of Labor.

The previous week's level was revised up by 1,000 from 217,000 to 218,000. The four-week moving average was 220,250, an increase of 7,750 from the previous week's revised average. The previous week's average was revised up by 250 from 212,250 to 212,500.
