Initial Jobless Claims Declined by 2K in Week Ending June 25

Washington, DC, June 30, 2022-In the week ending June 25, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 231,000, a decrease of 2,000 from the previous week's revised level, according to the Department of Labor. 

The previous week's level was revised up by 4,000 from 229,000 to 233,000. The four-week moving average was 231,750, an increase of 7,250 from the previous week's revised average. The previous week's average was revised up by 1,000 from 223,500 to 224,500.
